KATHUA, July 21: A free medical camp was organized today by Amandeep Hospital, Pathankot in collaboration with MJM Sports Club Barmota at Government High School, Bani.
Three cleft cases were selected for surgery during the camp.
Sub-Divisional Magistrate Bani, Joginder Singh Jasrotia inaugurated the camp while Vijay Kumar Thapa, Managing Director of Amandeep Hospital; Naib Tehsildar Bani, Satish Kumar; SHO Bani, Abdul Gani and Chairman MJM Sports Club Barmota were also present on the occasion.
A team of doctors including specialists of Bone & Joint, Neuro & Spine, Plastic and Cosmetic Surgery, General Medicine, Laproscopic, General Surgery and Gynecology examined about 900 patients and gave free medicines to the needy and poor patients.
The patients from far flung area throng the medical camp.
Speaking on the occasion the SDM hailed the organizers of medical camp for helping poor patients.
