JAMMU, Sept 14: In order to provide better dental services, a free medical checkup camp was today organised at the Government SPMR College.
A Team of Doctors under the supervision of Dr. Azhar Malik and Dr. Shamim Anjum conducted free dental checkup of staff members and students of Commerce College. Free medicines were also distributed among the participants.
Dr. Surinder Kumar, Principal of the College lauded the efforts of organising team of the College, Members from Rotary Club and Doctors from Dental College, Jammu for providing the hassle free dental services in College campus.
Ramnik Singh, President Rotary Club, Sh. Balvinder Singh, Secretary Rotary Club and Dr. Dushyant Chowdhary, Past District Governor presented the mementos and certificates to the team of doctors as token of appreciation.
The event was coordinated by Prof. Barbara Koul, Prof. Savita Jamwal, Dr. Parveen Singh, Dr. Nazia Rasool, and Dr. Deepak Pathania.
Other faculty members present on the occasion were Dr. Sandhya Bharadwaj, Prof. Deepshikha Sharma, Prof. Harpreet Kour, Prof. Shreya Sharma and others.
