Srinagar, Dec 22: Army today said it along with local authorities organised a medical camp at Lassipora area of Pulwama distirict in an attempt to reach out to the people and cater to their health problems besides spreading awareness on importance of hygiene and sanitation.
A defence spokesman said that the request of the people of Lassipora, Shahoora, Litter and adjoining areas for a health care camp was responded to by a team of Army and civil doctors who provided free consultation, treatment and medicines to over 800 persons that included the elderly, women and children.
