SAMBA, Dec 31: To provide healthcare to the underprivileged, DGPC Samba in collaboration with Sheela Polyclinic and Diagnostics Centre, Nandpur and Guru Nanak Medical Hall, Guru Nanak Nagar, here today organised a screening and awareness camp at Gurudwara Khour Salaria, Nandpur in the memory of Basant Kour.
The camp offered free consultations, medicines and diagnostic tests to more than 200 patients.
MLA Ramgarh, Dr. D.K Manyal, visited the camp and extended full support to the initiative.
Dr. Supinder Singh, Physician Specialist, along with his team including Dr. Arvind Kumar, Dr. Nirmala and Dr. Pawanjeet Kour examined the patients and provided them consultations.
Dr. Buti Ram Bhagat, founder of Sheela Diagnostics Centre, said: “Our goal is to ensure that every individual live a healthy life.”
He commended the selfless efforts of Dr. Supinder Singh and his team of doctors, volunteers and healthcare professionals for their contributions.
The collective efforts of Kulvinder Singh (president), Gurmail Singh (vice president) and Jaswant Singh (secretary) ensured the smooth execution of the event.
