JAMMU, Dec 23: A medical camp was organised on a voluntary basis at Government Girls Middle School Barnai today.
As per a statement, Dr Sanjeev Kumar Digra, Professor of Pediatrics at SMGS Hospital Jammu, led the initiative. VEC members were also present on the occasion.
A total of 130 students received thorough examinations from Dr Digra and his team. Those diagnosed with various illnesses were provided free medicines from reputable companies. Dr Digra also raised awareness about COVID-19 and emphasized following SOPs and maintaining a safe distance in crowded areas.
The Head of Institution, Kuldeep Singh Bandral, along with staff members, urged Dr Sanjeev Kumar Digra to organize such medical camps every six months for the students’ benefit.
Dr Digra agreed and assured his commitment. The medical camp was efficiently managed by the school staff and the Headmaster.
