JAMMU, Feb 5: A medical camp was organized at 160 Battalion CRPF under the supervision of Rajesh Sankhla and Angom Naresh Singh, 2-I/C 160 Battalion in association with Ministry of Ayush, Government of India with collaboration of Medical Officers of Regional Ayurveda Research Institute, Rajendra Nagar, Bantalab, Jammu.
On this occasion, Talat Anjum, Research Officer, Botany, Dr Minakshi Soori, Research Officer Pathology, Dr Vasundhra Parihar and Suman Lata carried out medical examination of jawans of 160 Battalion and sensitized them about the hazards of COVID-19, its precaution and treatment.
The jawans were also counseled about the various ailments like Diabetes, Heart-Attack, Fatty liver, Migraine etc. which are increasing day by day due to unhealthy lifestyle and various types of pollutions.
The Counsellors also stressed upon the importance of maintaining healthy lifestyle.
On this occasion, various immunity booster medicines were also distributed amongst jawans.
Dinesh Kumar Sharma, D/C, Ajay Kumar Singh, D/C and SL Fotra, MO-160 Battalion were also present.
Rajesh Sankhla, 2-I/C conveyed his gratitude towards the Ministry of Ayush and apprised that 160 Battalion CRPF is much conscious about the health of their jawans, hence used to arrange such type of medical camps regularly to get them acquainted about maintaining better health.
