JAMMU, Mar 9: A deputation of Jammu Kashmir Medical Employees Federation called on the Minister of State for Health Shabir Ahmed Khan and apprised him of various demands of the Health Department employees.
The deputation, led by Sushil Sudan, submitted a charter of demands to the Minister in presence of Commissioner Secretary Health and Medical Education Department M K Divedi.
The Federation highlighted the demands, which included regularization of all adhoc, consolidated and contractual employees who are nearing the maximum age limit, upgradation of the grade of FMPHW, creation of new posts of LHC, enhancement of FTA, creation of posts of District Pharmacy Officer and Block Pharmacy Officer, removal of disparity in funds provided by the State Government, filling up of vacant posts of all categories in Health Department, OT to those who discharge 12 hours night duty and removal of pay anomalies etc.
The Minister gave a patient hearing to the deputation and assured positive consideration of the genuine demands.
The deputation comprised of Vinod Kumar, Kamaljeet Sawhney, R P Singh, Jugal Bakshi, Daleep Chowdhary, Surjeet Kumar, Sodagar Mal, Bharat Bhushan Bhagat, Dwarka Sharma and others.
