JAMMU, May 28: A deputation of Jammu Kashmir Medical Employees Federation today called on Director Family Welfare, MC H & Immunization, J&K and apprised him of the delay in salary of FMPHWs working in Sub-Centres.
The Deputation, led by Sushil Sudan, told the Director that FMPHWs, working in Sub-Centres under 2211 Head were not getting their salary for the last 5 to 20 months.
The Director Baldev Raj Sharma gave a patient hearing to the deputation and informed that the funds under 2211 Family Welfare head have been received and being allotted to the concerned Drawing and Disbursing officers within days.
The Federation appreciated the Director for his personal initiative in getting the funds released and stressed for a permanent solution for timely disbursement of salary every month.
