JAMMU : Medicines worth lakhs were destroyed when fire broke out inside the drug store of Government Medical College and Hospital Jammu.
”A mysterious fire broke out late last night inside the Drug Store of Government Medical College and Hospital in Bakshi Nagar area,” police spokesman here today said.
He said that medicines worth lakhs were destroyed, adding, ”fire tenders were pressed into service to douse the flames.”
Besides medicines, electronic gadgets and other items also were also destroyed in the inferno.
”The matter is being investigated and the reason behind the fire is yet to be ascertained,” said the spokesperson. (AGENCIES)
