Srinagar, Apr 3: Medicos have demanded immediate removal of Director Health Services Kashmir for his alleged involvement in the spurious drug scam which surfaced last year.
President Doctors Association Kashmir (DAK) Dr Nisar ul Hassan in a statement said that doctors are anguished that verification board of Directorate of Health Services Kashmir, Dr Saleem u Rehman, involved in purchase and supply of fake drugs has been let off.
DAK said the board has not checked the credentials of supplier like authorization letter from manufacturing company, adding the board has overlooked the sample pack as the fake sample pack was 1×10 whereas the original sample pack is 1×6.
