JAMMU, Apr 15: A quarterly general body meeting of All India Punjab National Bank (PNB), Pensioners and Retirees Association, Circle Jammu was held here today under the chairmanship of B.S Chib, Association president.
More than 150 members attended the meeting.
On this occasion a medical camp (Ayush) was also organized by a team of doctors led by Dr. Shivani Padha (MO) from Govt. Ayurvedic Hospital, Jammu and many senior citizens present in the meeting were checked for lifestyle diseases like hypertension, diabetes and other ailments.
Free Ayurvedic medicines were distributed to about 150 pensioners.
The emphasis was laid to taking of millets more in daily food for natural treatment of ailments.
During meeting, a resolution was passed for the updating of pension of bank retirees which has not been revised since the year 1986.
