JAMMU: Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti on Thursday inducted brother Tassaduq Mufti and former minister Javed Mustafa Mir into her cabinet.
Governor N N Vohra administered oath to Mr Mufti and Mr Mir at a ceremony on Thursday morning in the lawns of the Raj Bhawan.
Cinematographer-turned-politician Mr Mufti is younger brother of Ms Mufti.
Earlier, he was heading Chief Minister’s grievance cell. Mr Mufti made a comeback to the state politics after father and Chief Minister Mufti Mohammad Sayeed passed away on January 7, 2015.
Meanwhile, Mr Mir, who was revenue minister in Mufti Sayeed-led PDP-BJP Government has also been inducted into Ms Mufti’s cabinet. (AGENCIES)
