Mehbooba, Omar misguiding people: Suri

JAMMU, Jan 20: Former Chief Ministers-Mehbooba Mufti and Omar Abdullah are trying to misguide people just to hold on to their ground which is fast slipping beneath their feet.
This was stated by BJP J&K Executive Member, Raman Suri in a handout.
He further said that even when the entire J&K has moved on, youngsters in the UT are coming up with their start-ups, massive infrastructure is giving J&K round the year connectivity, system is being revamped, administration is being streamlined and public services are coming at doorsteps of the people, Mehbooba is continuing to talk about reconciliation, which is illogical, irrelevant and doesn’t hold any ground.
“Similarly, Omar Abdullah, whose party doesn’t respect democracy, has reserved the top party positions for Abdullah family and dared to boycott several elections besides not holding elections to local bodies when in power as Chief Minister. He keeps asking for Assembly polls knowingly that whenever the Election Commission of India and security agencies will deem it right, the same will be held in the most free and fair manner enabling every party and individual to participate in the same,” Suri maintained.
