SRINAGAR, June 30: The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) president and former Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti today chaired the meeting with the party’s Political Affairs Committee to review the overall political situation and party affairs.
Senior party leaders attended the meeting, discussing key issues and strategies to address the current political climate and strengthen the party’s position.
A party leader said that various measures were discussed to strengthen the party at the grass root level ahead of the Assembly elections that are likely to be held later this year. He said that regular block level meetings were proposed so that the party cadres are activated at the grass root level.
It was decided that the party will continue to raise the issues faced by the people of Jammu and Kashmir.
