JAMMU, June 10: The newly elected members of Tirath Raj Kapal Mochan Shrine & Temples of Shopian today took the oath of office at a function held here at Geeta Satsangh Ashram Muthi.
They were administered the oath by Swami Kumar Ji. Those who took the oath of office included Ashok Sathoo as president, Rajiv Koul as vice president, Satish Kandhari as general secretary, Ashok Koul as treasurer and Vimal Pandia as organising secretary.
The oath ceremony was also attended by B L Saraf, (retd District and Sessions Judge), P N Pandita, P L Tickoo, Bansi Lal Koul, A K Saraf, Kulbushan Kaw, Virender Sathoo, Ajay Raj Koul, Vikram Koul, Sanjay Pandita, Vijay Kumar Koul and Jai Krishan Koul.
The elections were held under the supervision of advocate Kanya Lal Pandita on June 2.
The function concluded with the vote of thanks by newly elected president, Ashok Sathoo.
