JAMMU, Oct 22: All Jammu, Kashmir and Ladakh Teachers Federation has appointed Kewal Krishan as convenor for zone Bhalwal and announced to start its membership drive in the zone from tomorrow.
This was announced during a meeting of the Federation, held today under the chairmanship of Babu Ram Padyar and Mohd Iqbal. The meet also discussed the overall scenario of the School Education Department vis-à-vis the issues of teaching fraternity.
The members expressed their dissatisfaction over functioning of the Department and demanded immediate release of salary of teachers under RMSA, SSA and NPS.
The meeting was attended by Maheshwar Prasad, Pawan Kumar, Arun Sharma, Narinder Bakshi, Raj Kumar, Madan Singh, Kuldeep Singh, Gulzar Ahmad and others.
