JAMMU, Jan 16: In seven days extensive tour of border District Rajouri and Poonch, Eshfaq Ul Rehman Poswal State president, Bhartiya Gujar Maha Sabha, took appraisal of the demands of the people residing in Mendhar tehsil.
On the occasion, Poswal flayed State Government for double standard adopted by it and warned it to immediately review ban on Inter District Recruitments.
He demanded that the Goivernment must launch a campaign for youth of Mendhar as the said tehsil has been neglected in the matter of development and that there was no industry there.
Addressing a mammoth gathering at border village Bareela, Poswal said he noticed worst condition of Animal Husbandary dispensary, Medical and Education Department in Mendhar Block especially in tribal areas. He said almost all Centrally sponsored schemes like PMGSY, NRHM, NREWP, Anganwari, Old age and handicap Pension etc were not implemented in Mendhar Tehsil.
