KHOUR, June 24: A mentally challenged person was reunited with his family members here Today.
Police said a mentally unsound person, who was roaming in the area, was brought to Khour Police Station.
On enquiry, he disclosed his name as Kushapal son of Dev Parkash of Uspar, near Sonik Road, Mathura, Uttar Pradesh, they said.
Followed by this, police said, the local police station in UP was contacted and it was found that a missing report was registered at the Police Station Highway, Mathura, since April 7, 2023.
Later, his legal heirs were informed about his presence and today, they reached at Police Station Khour, where they were handed over the missing member of their family after completing the legal formalities, police said.
The family members of the missing person thanked SHO Khour Inspector Rahul Mahajan and team and SDPO Akhnoor Mohan Lal Sharma for their efforts in reuniting their family members with them.
