Mentally retarded boy reunited with family after 6 yrs

JAMMU, Mar 30: Gharota police reunited a mentally retarded boy with his family after six years.
As per police sources, on March 25 this year, a mentally retarded boy was found roaming aimlessly by Gharota Police
After sessions of questioning, his residential particulars were established in Uttar Pradesh and concerned police was contacted, which informed about the boy to his family members.
The mentally retarded person identified as Raju, son of Ram Avtar of Uttar Pradesh was handed over to his brother today by Gharota Police. He was missing from the past six years.
The reunion of the boy with his family was made possible with the sincere efforts of cops from Police Station Gharota led by SHO Inspector Gurmeet Singh under the supervision of SDPO Akhnoor Munish Anand and SP Rural Shivdeep Singh Jamwal.
