REASI, Sept 4: A mentally retarded teenager was raped by two youth in village Kalara in Reasi district yesterday evening when she had gone outside to bring some house holds goods from a shop.
According to reports the girl who was returning from shop to her house was obstructed by two motor cycle born youth and dragged to the nearby filed where they raped her. They fled from the spot after committing the rape.
The Reasi police has registered a case against the unknown people and started investigations. But the rapists are still at large.
The incident has generated a lot of public resentment and people have urged the police to apprehend the culprits immediately failing which they will launch agitation.
