JAMMU, Aug 27: A mentally retarded girl has been raped by her father and his friend.
As per police sources, a complaint was lodged by relative of a mentally retarded girl with Police Station Bahu Fort stating that girl’s father namely Ramesh Sharma raped his daughter along with his friend Subash Mehra.
Acting over the complaint, a case FIR Number 219/2022 under relevant sections has been registered at Police Station Bahu Fort and hunt was launched to nab the accused.
A team from Police Station Bahu Fort led by SHO Inspector Nayat Ali conducted series of raids and finally arrested the alleged rapists.
Further investigation into the case is going on.
