JAMMU, Feb 2: A mentally retarded person was reunited with his family by Jammu and Kashmir police here on Thursday.
A police spokesperson said that Police Post Chowki Chowra noticed one person roaming unnecessarily in the area and offered him meals.
During investigation, police got to know that the person wasn’t mentally sound, he said.
Accordingly, the police, through different sources, identified the person as Rama Nand Singh son of Shiv Kumar of Salharpur, District Kharia, Bihar, and reunited him with his family after completing the legal formalities, added the police spokesperson.
