NEW DELHI, June 26: Mentha oil prices fell 0.39 per cent to Rs 764.70 per kg in futures trade today as speculators trimmed positions amid sluggish demand from consuming industries at the spot market.
Mentha oil for delivery in July fell by Rs 3, or 0.39 per cent, to Rs 764.70 per kg in a business turnover of 296 lots at the Multi Commodity Exchange.
Likewise, the oil for delivery in June shed Rs 1.40, or 0.19 per cent, to Rs 748.40 per kg in 152 lots.
Market analysts attributed the weakness in mentha oil futures to offloading of positions by speculators amid a sluggish demand from consuming industries in the spot market. (AGENCIES)
