NEW DELHI, June 11: Amid profit-booking at prevailing levels and fall in demand, mentha oil prices traded lower by 0.75 per cent to Rs 976.60 per kg in futures trading today.
At Multi Commodity Exchange, mentha oil for delivery in June eased Rs 7.40, or 0.75 per cent, to Rs 976.60 per kg in a business turnover of 356 lots.
Likewise, the oil for delivery in July contracts traded lower Rs 7, or 0.70 per cent, to Rs 992.50 per kg in 84 lots.
Marketmen attributed the fall to profit-booking by speculators at the existing levels and decline in demand from consuming industries in the spot market. (PTI)
