Menthol declines on reduced offtake

NEW DELHI, Nov 8:  Menthol prices fell Rs 5 per kg in the national capital today on reduced offtake by consuming units amid adequate stocks.
Besides, increased arrivals from producing belts in Uttar Pradesh also weighed on menthol prices.
Menthol bold crystal, flake and mentha oil prices declined by Rs 5 each to conclude at Rs 855, Rs 840 and Rs 725 per kg, respectively.
Traders said reduced offtake by consuming industries against increased arrivals from producing belts mainly pulled down menthol prices.
