UDHAMPUR, Jan 14: An MES employee among two persons died in separate road accidents, here today.
Reports said that the MES employee, namely Subash Chander (44) of Bari Brahmana Jammu, was crushed to death by a rashly driven vehicle near Jaganoo Morh, this evening. He was walking on the roadside when rashly driven vehicle hit him. He was rushed to the hospital where doctors declared him as brought dead.
In a separate road accident, a Scooti rider died after his two wheeler was hit by a Scorpio near Had Post Office Udhampur.
The deceased has been identified as Bittu Kumar (30) son of Hari Ram of Osu in Udhampur District.
Police has registered both the cases.
