Srinagar, Apr 8: Meteorological Department today predicted rainfall for five days in Kashmir valley even as the region experienced downpour this evening.
A MeT official said that the rains are expected to lash Kashmir valley from tomorrow till Wednesday next week. “Widespread rains are expected on Saturday and Monday while fairly widespread rains are predicted on Sunday and isolated on Tuesday and Wednesday,” he said.
The official, however, said that there is no weather warning for any of these days. Meanwhile, the Valley today evening experienced rains for nearly an hour which yet again waterlogged the streets, lanes and residential colonies.
