RAJOURI, Nov 1: Muslim Educational Trust BGS Academy, Thannamandi organized 40th Foundation Day, here today.
Khurshid Bismil, founder patron of the Institute in his welcome address highlighted the achievements of the Institute both in curricular and co-curricular activities.
The programme was presided over by Chairman Pahari Advisory Board and MoS Kuldeep Raj Gupta. MLA, Rajouri, Qammar Hussain was the chief guest and Nazir Hussain Qureshi was the guest of honour on the occasion.
Mussaraf Hussain Shah, Principal Govt. Degree College Poonch, Shabir Hussain Shah, Principal Govt. Degree College Rajouri, Niyaz Banday, Bashir Khataq, Principal Degree College, Dr Shakeel Ahmed Raina, Mushtaq Ahmed Raina XEN, Prof. Mohammad Iqbal Raina, Abdul Ghani Shawl Block, Iftikhar Talib and Alambardar and Tahir Khurshid Raina were present on the occasion.
The students of the institute presented a colourful cultural programme. On the occasion Mohammad Din Banday memorial award was conferred to Nazir Hussain Qureshi for his outstanding contribution in the field of literature.
The programme concluded with the distribution of prizes among the meritorious students.
The proceedings of the programme were conducted by Nusrat Khurshid Raina.
