NEW DELHI: Union Home Ministry has given nod to National Investigation Agency (NIA) to go ahead with the investigation of the dismissed DSP of Jammu and Kashmir cop Davinder Singh, a Home Ministry official said here on Thursday, adding that the official notification to follow soon.
The NIA has already initiated the investigation in this case and it’s Director General YC Modi met the Union Home Secretary Ajay Kumar Bhalla on Wednesday and the probe team will be headed by an IG Rank official, the Home Ministry official added. (AGENCIES)
