NEW DELHI: A five-member team led by a senior Home Ministry official is on a two-day visit to the Jammu region to find a resolution to problems of the people living in the border areas, an official said today.
The team led by Special Secretary (Internal Security) in the Home Ministry Rina Mitra today visited the Samba, RS Pura and Kathua areas of Jammu, the official said.
The members heard out the villagers in the areas. They demanded bunkers, schools and compensation for loss caused due to ceasefire violations by the Pakistan side, he said. (AGENCIES)
