JAMMU, Dec 3: Secretary Internal Security in the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) will tomorrow hold high level meeting in New Delhi with top officers of Home, Police and Industries & Commerce Departments to discuss needs of the State Government on internal security and cross-LoC trade.
Principal Secretary (Home) RK Goyal, Additional DGP (Headquarters) Dr Shesh Pal Vaid, Commissioner/Secretary, Industries and Commerce Shailender Kumar and other senior officers will attend the MHA meeting, which will be chaired by Internal Security MHA Ashok Prasad.
Re-imbursement of Security Related Expenditure (SRE), Police modernization plan, manpower and infrastructure to boost cross-LoC trade along Poonch-Rawlakote and Uri-Muzaffarabad routes were among the major issues that would figure at the high level meeting, official sources said.
