JAMMU, Mar 25: Up in arms against transfer of three female teachers of the MHAC Naghbani School by the DAV College Management Committee, the aggrieved teachers and their colleagues held a protest dharna in the school premises.
They were also joined by some parents of the students, who had come to the school in connection with declaration of the annual results of some classes.
The protesting teachers raised slogans against the DAV College Management and demanded immediate cancellation of the transfer order. They claimed that decision of the DAV Society was not only illegal, but also doctorial and totally against the practice of this school. Parents also condemned timing of the transfers and urgency behind the move.
The protesting teachers announced constitution of an action committee and threatened to intensify their agitation in the coming days, if the transfer orders are not withdrawn by the management.
