MHAC Principal among 4 arrested for misappropriation of teak wood

JAMMU, Sept 28: Four persons including Principal of MHAC School Nagbani have been arrested for misappropriation of teak wood.
As per police sources, a tractor-trolley bearing registration number JK02BM-1534 carrying local teak wood was stopped by police cops at Barnai.
During checking, the driver and two others traveling on the vehicle failed to produce any legal document for transporting wood. An illegal authority letter was issued by Principal MHAC Nagbani Alok Betab to the said driver for transporting the wood.
Police team seized the tractor-trolley and arrested four persons including driver of the vehicle identified as Swaran Singh, son of Teja Singh of Nathyal, District Samba and Principal MHAC Nagbai Alok Betab.
A case under FIR Number 296/16 under Section 379, 420, 467, 468 and 471 RPC and 6/13 Forest Act has been registered in this regard at Domana police station and investigation started.
Police team led by SHO Domana Inspector Rajeshwar Singh made the arrest under the supervision of SDPO Domana Surinder Sharma and SP Rural Arun Gupta.
