MHAC school celebrates Maharaja Harisingh’s birthday

JAMMU, Sept 21: MHAC Nagbani, celebrated 120th birthday of its founder Maharaja Harisingh. The celebrations started with floral tribute paid to Maharaja by the Principal Alok Betab, staff and students. A Havan was performed by all followed by prasad distribution
Keeping alive the philanthrophic spirit of its founder, the school invites every year some underpriviliged schools to participate in the festivities. This year various students from Ram Chander Memorial School Batehra and Samaj Kalyan Kendra (School for Hearing impaired) were invited.
The students took part in Havan and were served packed snacks. Afterwards these students played games and enjoyed the ambience of Nagbani Campus.
Speaking on the occasion, Principal remembered Capt Dewan Singh Ji and highlighted the incidents from the life of Maharaja Harisingh.
The programme was concluded with a vote of thanks by the Principal Alok Betab.
