SRINAGAR, Apr 30: Senior National Conference (NC) leader and MLA Kangan, Mian Altaf Ahmed, today visited various areas of his constituency to take on spot review of various road projects being undertaken and executed.
Accompanied by executive engineers of PWD and PMGSY, the MLA visited Nunner, Wurpash, Gutlibagh, Chahtergul, Poshkar, Dardwooder, Hariganiwan, Sumbwal and other areas of the constituency and directed the officials concerned to expedite the work on the road projects and ensure their early completion so that the people don’t face any hardships.
Meanwhile, a number of deputations also called on the MLA and apprised him about various issues particularly non-availability of roads in their areas. The NC leader gave a patient hearing to them and assured that their genuine demands will be looked into on priority.
Mian Altaf also asked PWD and PMGSY officials to speed up the work of road projects and ensure that the quality is maintained while completing the projects.
