UDHAMPUR, July 1: A middle aged man was found dead from a drain at Karan Nagar Railway Road in Udhampur.
According to police, Trilok Chand (50), son of Dharam Chand, resident of Kardiyan Tanas, village Kulsar in Chenani, was found dead in a drain in Karan Nagar Railway Road under mysterious circumstances.
The body was spotted by some locals who informed the police following which SHO Udhampur Inspector Chaman Gorkha rushed to the spot and shifted the dead body to District Hospital Udhampur for the postmortem and other legal formalities.
Cause of death could not be ascertained while Police has registered the case for further investigation.
