UDHAMPUR, Dec 13: A middle aged man was murdered while two members of his family were injured in attack by some unknown assailants with sharp edged weapons in Lohar Madha area of Ward Number 3 of Chenani, a police official said.
The deceased has been identified as 44-year-old Vijay Kumar, son of Sai Das, a resident of Lohar Madha Ward Number 3 Chenani.
After completing medical and legal formalities, the body of the deceased was handed over to legal heirs for last rites.
The injured persons including deceased’s daughter and younger brother Gurdeep were undergoing treatment at SDH Chenani, when last reports were came in.
A case under relevant Sections has been registered at Chenani Police Station and investigation started.
