JAMMU, Mar 2: Model Institute of Engineering and Technology (MIET) celebrated National Science Day on the theme “Genetically Modified Crops and Food Security”.
On the occasion, Prof SK Khosa, Dean Faculty of Science, University of Jammu, was the chief guest, who while speaking emphasized on the research work and contribution by various scientists.
Prof MK Jain, convener, National Science Day function, expressed his views on the life and work of Prof CV Raman.
Later, Prof Khosa along with other dignitaries gave away the certificates to the participants.
Earlier, Principal of the college Prof SK Sharma presented the welcome address, while at the end, Prof BS Komal presented vote of thanks.
