JAMMU, June 27: The Model Institute of Engineering and Technology (MIET) School of Management reported stellar placements achieved by the graduating batch of MBA, BBA, and B Com students.
The comprehensive placement report was presented by Prof B C Sharma, Dean Training and Placements and Prof Sahil Sawhney, General Manager, Strategic Initiatives.
A total of 80 offer letters were received by the graduating batch. Out of these offers, 55 were extended to MBA graduates. The inaugural batch of BBA (Hons.) and B Com (Hons.) programs achieved 100 percent placements.
The placement season witnessed renowned companies such as ITC, PlanetSpark, Infollion Research, Kotak Mahindra Bank, ICICI Bank, ICICI Prudential, HDFC Bank, Visvero, Axis Bank, Piramal Finance, Aditya Birla Sun Life Insurance and IndiaMart recruiting talented students from the MIET School of Management.
The highest salary package offered was 6.5 lakhs per annum and was received by 10 students, while the median salary reached 4.2 lakhs per annum, showcasing the promising career prospects available to MIET graduates.
Dr Renu Gupta, Chairperson MIER and Prof Ankur Gupta, Director MIET, extended congratulations to the selected students for their outstanding achievements. They also extended their gratitude to the companies that have chosen to recruit graduates from MIET, acknowledging the mutually beneficial partnerships that have been established.
The School of Management at MIET has consistently maintained a remarkable 100 percent placement rate for the last ten graduating batches, a remarkable achievement that underscores the institution’s commitment to excellence and the industry-readiness of its graduates.
