Migrant employees without salaries for 4 months

JAMMU, Nov 6: Kashmiri Pandit Conference (KPC) has expressed grave concern over the non disbursement of salaries to newly appointed migrant teachers in Qaimoh block of Kulgam district of Kashmir valley for last four months.
In a statement issued here today KPC chief Kundan Kashmiri said that these employees were facing many hardships after being denied salaries for last four months.
He appealed the State Government to take necessary steps and ensure the release of salary to these employees prior to holy festival of Deewali so that they may not face any financial hardships in celebrating the festival.
He also expressed concern over cancellation of relief to the families whose one member has been provided a Government job in Valley under PM’s employment package and demanded rescinding of the decision immediately.
