JAMMU, Mar 11: Entire house hold goods and other valuables of a migrant family were perished in devastating fire at Jagti township after the flat in which the family was residing caught fire today.
As per reports all the household items of a migrant family turned into ashes as their Flat No 2 in Block No 48 of Jagti township caught fire. The cause of fire has not been ascertained yet. It was a narrow escape for the inmates also. The neighbors tried their best to douse the blaze but in vain.
BJP spokesperson and former MLC, G L Raina and party Seh Prabhari for displaced district, H L Bhat have demanded immediate compensation for the affected family.
