Migrant KPs, YAIKS extend support to Apni Party candidates

JAMMU, May 12: The migrant Kashmiri Pandits (KPs) and Youth All India Kashmiri Samaj (YAIKS) today extended their support to contesting candidates of Apni Party from Srinagar and Rajouri-Anantnag Parliamentary seats.
Both the organisation has decided to support the Apni party candidate Mohammed Ashraf Mir from Srinagar Parliamentary seat, and Zafar Iqbal Manhas from Rajouri – Anantnag Parliamentary seat.
In this regard a meeting of KPs Migrant Cell was held here today.
During the meeting, the migrant Kashmiri Pandits (KPs) discussed about their policy and agenda of the Party, especially regarding the honorable return and rehabilitation of migrant Kashmiri Pandits in Kashmir.
The election campaigns in support of candidates will be led by General Secretary of the Party, Vijay Bakaya, Provincial President of the Party, Manjit Singh, Additional General Secretary, Arun Chibber, Provincial Vice President, Jammu, ex-MLA Faqir Nath, Provincial Secretary / Membership Drive, Dr Rohit Gupta, Provincial President Jammu, Women Wing, Pavneet Kour, prominent social activist, and senior leader of the Party, M.K. Yogi, Provincial Secretary Minority, Nana Wattal, and others.
On the other hand, the youth campaigning team will be headed by General Secretary of the Youth Wing and Spokesperson of the Party, Abhay Bakaya, and senior youth wing leader, Muktesh Yogi.
The election campaigning was also done at migrant camps, various non-camps, Jagti township, Barnai, Bohri, Vikas Lane, Talab Tillo, Patoli Brahmana, TRT Nagrota, Muthi, Adarsh Nagar Bantalab, Khanpur in Nagrota, Subash Nagar, Kangra Fort Barnai, Durga Nagar and Datta Colony.
On the occasion, Vijay Bakaya and M. K. Yogi appealed to the KP community to amass votes in favour of Apni Party Parliament candidates whose election symbol is “BAT.”
