Migrant teachers hold meeting

JAMMU, Sept 8: A meeting of Migrant Teachers Welfare Association (MTWA) was held under the chairmanship of its president Ramesh Kumar Raina.
The Association general secretary, Bal Ji Marhata appealed the Education Minister and Commissioner Secretary Education to adjust the teachers promoted as masters in different migrant schools located in Jammu as there is shortage of subject teachers in the camp schools.
The meeting also reiterated the demand of computerization of GPF accounts as several migrant employees complain of having variations in the schedules being issued by the Fund organization. It showed concern over the inadequate infrastructure in the migrant camp schools and demanded immediate adjustment of class fourth employees in camp schools.
