JAMMU, June 2: Over 100 migrant teachers, who were promoted as masters vide Order No: 928, dated 30-03-2013 have appealed the Deputy Chief Minister, Tara Chand, who also holds the charge of Education Ministry, to adjust them in Camp Schools as per the past precedence.
In a meeting held here, these promoted teachers said that 122 teachers were promoted as master through this order, out of which 12 have been adjusted in Camp and allied institutions and 4 have been adjusted in district Leh.
They further said that over one year has passed from their promotion order, but are still unadjusted and are waiting in the wings for their suitable adjustment in migrant institutions.
The teachers said that the Government has used different yardsticks for the promotees of a specific order, helping cause of a few and leaving most of them in the lurch.
The suffering promotees have requested the concerned authorities to do the needful at an earliest to help them concentrate in their jobs.
