JAMMU, Aug 17: Kashmiri Migrant Youth Association in a meeting here today held under the chairmanship of R K Pandita urged the Government to advertise the remaining 3000 posts under PM’s employment package for displaced youth at an earliest.
The meeting in an appeal to the parents of the displaced unemployed youth urged them to strengthen the Association which has taken an onus to itself to get the package fully implemented by launching a forceful movement in this regard.
They said the employment package of 6000 jobs announced by PM in early 2008 has already been delayed to a great extent as in last four years it has not been implemented fully as 3000 jobs falling under state sponsorship are yet to be advertised.
The meeting however complimented those organizations of the community which have taken the cause of employment forward. Vimal Hangloo, Rohit Pandita, Sameer Ji Koul, Rohit Bhat and Ashwani were among others who attended the meeting.
