Migrants demand 3 months ration

JAMMU, May 12: Kashmiri migrant relief holders have expressed serious concern over the denial of last three months ration to them saying only ration for the month of May has been issued while the ration for the months of  February, March and April has not been released by CAPD Department till date.
In their separate statements social activist and ex president Jammu Kashmir Vichar Manch Ashok Kangan, social activist Shiban Ji Haku, All Migrant Camp Coordination Committee president (AMCCC), Desh Rattan, Jagti Tenement Committee (JTC) president Shadi Lal Pandita, Jagti Welfare Committee president, Vijay Kaul, relief holders representatives Sunil Pandita, Vinod Tickoo and others have sought immediate intervention of Chief Minister, Mehbooba Mufti in the matter.
They said that when Government has issued order of providing ration to migrants as per old scale on the directives of Union Government why the ration of last three months has been kept withheld.
The migrants warned to launch agitation in case the ration of balance months was not supplied to them without further delay.
