Migrants demand release of sugar quota

JAMMU, Nov 23: Jagti township inmates and other migrant relief holders have expressed grave concern over of denial of sugar along with monthly ration to the relief holders for last three months.
In a statement issued here, today Sunil Pandita a social activist said that it is surprising that during last three decades of their migration the Government for the first time has withheld the sugar quota distributed along with ration to Kashmiri migrants.
He made an appeal to Lt Governor, Girish Chandra Murmu and Union Minister of Public Distribution to release the quota of sugar to be given along with monthly ration to displaced persons from Valley.
