Migrants demand restoration of flour quota

Excelsior Correspondent
JAMMU, July 25: Kashmiri migrants today expressed their serious concern over denial of the quota of flour to them by the Government.
In a joint statement, Sunil Pandita and Vijay Koul social activists said that the flour quota given to migrants along with rice has been denied since April this year and despite the repeated pleas the Government failed to release the same.
They said the people dependent on cash relief of Rs 13,000 per month are unable to purchase the same in market. They made an appeal to Government to restore the supply of flour to migrants living in camp and non camp areas of Jammu.
