Milagrow to launch tablets, robots named after silver medalist Vijay Kumar

NEW DELHI, Aug 4:

Milagrow today announced that it will  name an upcoming tablet and domestic robot after Vijay Kumar,  who won the silver medal in 25m rapid fire pistol event at  the London Olympics yesterday.

The company has also decided to honor the athlete by  giving five per cent of the sales proceeds from special edition product to the medal winner.

Earlier, Milagrow had announced special edition tabtops and robots in the name of Gagan Narang, who won the bronze medal  in the 10 m air rifle event at the Olympics.

“As Milagrow had announced we will launch the special edition products in the name of Vijay Kumar very soon. He and those who are yet to win more medals will also get a chance to win more than Rs 50 lakh over in one year,” Milagrow Business & Knowledge Solutions Founder & CEO Mr Rajeev Karwal said in a statement here.

He said the company expects to sell more than 10,000 tab tops/domestic robots named after both Gagan Narang and Vijay Kumar at a price of at least Rs 10,000.

Milagrow will launch the special edition products after consultation with the winners—Narang and Kumar—about the specifications and packaging.
