SRINAGAR : A mild intensity earthquake jolted Kashmir valley, including summer capital, Srinagar, this afternoon forcing people to rush out of their homes.
A Met department spokesman said tremors which were felt around 1409 hrs lasted for a few seconds.
However, he said further details about the quake, including its epicenter and magnitude, was being collected. Meanwhile, there was no report of any loss of life or damage to property. (UNI)
